Sonya Rocvil is the Principal and Founder of Bedrock Real Estate Investors, a privately-owned investment firm specializing in the acquisition and asset management of multifamily apartment communities across strategic U.S. markets. A former auditor and Fortune 500 finance professional, Sonya has syndicated and operated 462 units, and served as an equity partner in over 400 additional units, building a portfolio grounded in financial discipline and long-term value creation.

The most valuable piece of advice that I have received is that you are your own CEO, and you have to take responsibility for your own growth and personal development. Despite any training that you learn on your job, you still need to make an investment in yourself to help you achieve your goals. When I decided to make the switch to multifamily investing, I invested my resources to learn about the industry. Learning is a lifetime endeavor and there is always an opportunity to grow.

Her career is built at the intersection of technical expertise and purpose-driven investing. With a background in accounting and strategic finance, Sonya brings an analyst’s mind and an operator’s eye to every transaction. Her real estate journey began with a bold pivot—transforming years of corporate experience into a thriving real estate business that now empowers others to pursue generational wealth.

Sonya holds an MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a licensed real estate agent in New York, a member of The Counselors of Real Estate ® and a proud graduate of Project REAP (Real Estate Associate Program), which supports diversity in commercial real estate. Sonya is a best-selling co-author of the book Push Beyond Your Limits.
